Virgil Siemer - Class of 1975
Virgil Siemer was inducted into the Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame on March 20, 1975. His credits for enshrinement are embraced in an active career that spanned 37 years from 1932 through 1968.
The Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame board of directors announced that their induction ceremony for the Class of 2026 will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the River City Casino and Hotel Ballroom.
This will be the 52nd induction class which will add to the current existing hall of fame membership which numbers over 900 inductees.
The foursome of Jeff Guempel, Melvin McGinnis, Kevin Kluge and Kent Hendrickson recorded a score of 57, 15 under-par, to take the A Flight honors in the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame Golf Tournament at the Florissant Golf Club on September 27, 2025.
The Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame recently made two donations this summer, distributing $3,000 in total. One contribution benefited the Mathews-Dickey Boys and Girls Club, and the other was given to the St. Louis Metro Collegiate Baseball League.
