The Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame presented Cardinals Care with a $2,500 donation and the prestigious J. Kim Tucci Legacy Award during its 52nd annual induction ceremony on April 23, 2026.
Honoring a Legacy of Community Support
The J. Kim Tucci Legacy Award was established to honor organizations and individuals who demonstrate an exceptional track record of dedication to the game of baseball at all levels in the metropolitan area. Originally created as the Legacy Award, it was renamed in 2020 to honor the late J. Kim Tucci—a beloved St. Louis civic leader, philanthropist, and co-founder of The Pasta House Company.
Cardinals Care, the charitable arm of the St. Louis Cardinals, was selected as the 2026 recipient. The organization has spent decades dedicated to caring for kids through programs that support health, education, and youth baseball, notably through building and maintaining community ball fields and funding the Redbird Rookies program.
A Shared Commitment to Youth Baseball
The $2,500 financial contribution presented alongside the award highlights the collaborative relationship between the professional and amateur baseball communities in St. Louis.About the Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame
