Steve Biederman
Hall of Fame Player Class of 2019
Steve was an all-star third baseman for the University of Missouri at Rolla, where he played from 1967 to 1972. Steve was named All-Conference in 1971. In 1972, he batted .383 and was named All-Conference, All-District and All-State. That year, he received honorable mention as an All-American after his team won the MIAA championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. He as also named to the Topps All-Star team as a third baseman. He posted a .358 career batting average at Missouri-Rolla. In 1999, Biederman was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at the Missouri-Rolla. His 1972 team was inducted in 2001.
In the late 1960s, he was an infielder for Southwest High School and also Gardenville-Affton American Legion Post 300. In 1968, Biederman helped Gardenville-Affton advance to the Missouri Eastern Zone playoffs.
From 1967-72, he played infield for the Ray Rixman Dodge Boys in the Khoury League.
Biederman coached youth teams in Ballwin for many years.
