Edward J. Barry
Hall of Fame Player Class of 1986

Barry was a slugging first baseman who was also excellent defensively. Ed threw left-handed and was a switch-hitter. He played on two Muny League Champions, CSMAC and Hoffmeister. In 1960, Barry belted six home runs and during a six-year period with the “Hoffies” he batted .357. His career spanned 15 years and was considered the consummate team player - a leader by example. When his active days ended, Barry coached kids in the CYC and Muny leagues for 10 years and worked in amateur baseball administration for an additional five years.
