Active umpire from 1954 to the mid-90's. An officer and board member of Greater St. Louis Association of Umpires. Worked high school, college, semi-pro and American Legion games and CYC, Khoury and County leagues. Regarded highly for relations between umpires and players and for conducting clinics to teach umpiring.
