A lefthanded outfielder, Denmon played 11 seasons for the Mathews-Dickey Knights from 1980-1991. He was numerous championship teams in both the Tandy League and Tom Brooks League. He was selected to several all-star teams.
In 1978, Denmon played for the Thoman-Booth Post 338 team that won the American Legion state championship. He was an outfielder for Ladue High School from 1975-1978. In the late 1970s, he played for Ric Lessmann’s nationally-ranked Meramec Community College team. Denmon played for Harris-Stowe State College in the early 1980s. He also played for Tennessee State University. From 1991-93, he was an outfielder for the St. Louis Wildcats. He played six seasons for the St. Louis Braves. Denmon instructs young baseball players at the Mathews-Dickey Boys & Girls Club and the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club.
