Welcome to the Hall Class of 2025

April 24, 2025 -- The Greater STL Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame welcomed the Hall of Fame Class of 2025 at the annual awards banquet on Thursday, April 24th, 2025. Eleven (11) players, two (2) manager/coaches and three (3) contributors were joined by family, friends and fellow Hall of Famers at the Sheraton Westport Chalet Hotel to celebrate their baseball careers.

Award recipients were:

  • Rich Sturm, Sr. - Bob Broeg Award (Outstanding HS coach)
  • Bernard Gilkey - Bob Burnes Award (Outstanding Pro Player from STL)
  • Randy Karraker - Jack Buck Media Award (Outstanding STL Media Member)
  • St. Louis Metro Collegiate Baseball League - J. Kim Tucci Legacy Award (Outstanding contribution to STL baseball)

Five high school baseball stars from the STL Metro Area were nominated for the Rising Star award:

  • Charlie Wortham, Desmet Jesuit HS (named Rising Star award winner)
  • Michael Callahan, Lafayette HS
  • Will Geary, Valley Park HS
  • Chase Knebel, Highland (IL) HS
  • Mason Schirmer, Festus HS
